Every other week, Aminatou Sow and Ann Friedman call each other to discuss the intricacies of pop culture and the latest in politics. What I love about them is that they are unapologetically feminist, and not afraid to go there with each other about everything from menstrual cycles to workplace politics.

Let’s face it: talking about race and identity can be a tricky conversation to navigate. I love Code Switch because they are all journalists of color who are dedicated to helping us get uncomfortable and then grow into comfort when talking about race, culture, and identity. They are earnest and empathetic. This is an essential podcast for those who want to know better AND do better.
