Promising review: "I make a lot of eggs. I love ramen and a nice soft boiled egg just makes me swoon. I've tried all sorts of techniques. Boiling, baking, sous vide, pressure cooked. And I hadn't found a 100% no stuck shells, no explosions, no undercooked method till this silly little thing. Worked perfectly. So easy! And made a perfect egg. On my first go at it. The buzzer is god awful. Who cares. This thing is awesome." —Mr mcgoo

I recently tried Myojo ramen for the first time and it blew me away. It's as easy to prepare as instant Maruchan, but it tastes ten times better (and I'm a fan of Maruchan!). The noodles were nice and chewy, the flavors were complex, and honestly, it was the best pre-packaged soup of any kind I've ever had. Trust me. Buy this.

Promising review: "As a New Yorker and a ramen lover, I can't get enough of this book. The photographs are beautiful, the memoirs are interesting, and the recipes are to die for. The layout and design of this hardcover ramen noodle bible are superb. I know I'll read this book over and over as I become more and more obsessed with this fascinating and delicious cuisine. A highly recommended read for foodies." —Anonymous

Promising review: "I bought this for cooking noodles and it is perfect. The construction is quite rugged and feels good in your hand. I have, so far, used it to cook a whole packet of Hokkaido noodles and again for two packets of ramen. It is perfect when used in conjunction with chopsticks. Well designed product." —Jimbo428

Promising review: "This nori has a delicious light brine-y taste; a bit more of a roasted flavor. I use it with all types of rice. I fold and tear it into bits for clear soups. It gave an amazingly flavorful punch in a bowl of beef barley soup. Another favorite is laying down thin deli ham onto a full sheet of nori. Fold the nori in half, then wrap it around a WASA sesame flat cracker (or any crisp flatbread). The taste and texture (mouthfeel) combination is delightful!" —Rose

Promising review: "OMG this hot pot is adorable! I would have loved this if I was still a college student. I use it mainly for steaming buns and making ramen. It is just the right size for my ramen and vegetables. It has a plastic insert which allows you steam food, which was perfect for my buns and dumplings. Overall I was very pleased with this hot pot." —Annie

Promising review: "Although I’ve used sesame oil for years as an alternative to butter or sometimes as a substitute for olive oil (as in a salad dressing), this brand is by far the best I’ve tried to date. It may be the best ever, because I have no intention of ever purchasing another brand. As soon as I opened the can, the scent of toasted sesame embraced me." —L Howard
