Are The Pink Stuff Products That Went Viral On TikTok Worth The Hype? I Cleaned My House With Them To Put Them To The Test

    CleanTok, you got me good.

As an avid CleanTok fan, I'm no stranger to The Pink Stuff products. If you're new to the viral cleaning must-haves that everyone's talking about, then a quick search of TikTok shows that #thepinkstuff has a whopping 263M views! I put The Pink Stuff cream, spray, bathroom foam, and paste to the test on some of the toughest household stains to see if they live up to the hype. Let's go!

First things first, I tackled the dreaded oven door. For someone who likes a clean home, I'd shamefully not realised how much the inside needed doing, as you can see (don't tell me you haven't been there!). For this, I chose to use The Pink Stuff paste (and my beloved Spunj!) The instructions say you should 'rub gently before rinsing off with hot water.'

Next up, I tried cleaning a baking tray. I repeated the soaking process but this time using the cream cleaner. It claims to be tough on stains, penetrating to remove grease and grime. Whilst this tray doesn't have loads of staining, there's buildup in the corners.

My sink often lacks shine and water marks show easily despite cleaning it regularly. I decided to give The Pink Stuff's Miracle Multipurpose Cleaner a try. It claims to be streak-free, tough on grease and grime, and able to deliver a sparkling clean.

After scrolling through TikTok, I noticed trainer fans were using The Pink Stuff paste to clean their white trainers. This isn't listed as one of the paste's uses on the packaging, so my advice would be to approach with caution.

Finally, I put The Pink Stuff's bathroom foam to the test. One of my pet peeves is water marks on shower glass, so this foam which has a 'non drip formulation' and claims to remove and prevent limescale sounded right up my street.
