If You're Over The Age Of 35, Tell Me What You Think The Best Part Of Getting Older Has Been

It's not all wrinkles and creaking knees.

I'm turning 36 in a few months, and while I spend an unnecessary amount of money on skincare to try to keep myself looking youthful, there are a lot of things I've enjoyed about getting older.

For one thing, relatives don't bug me about settling down and having kids the way they used to.

Obviously, 35 is still young enough to have kids, but the closer I get to 40, the more my family seems to realize I'll only ever be a cat mom.

I'm also much more content to spend 90% of my time at home as opposed to going out and partying multiple times a week.

Considering I now clock out at about two drinks once — maybe twice — a month and prefer to be home before midnight, the amount of time I spent in bars in my 20s astounds me.
