Tell Me About The Big Purchase Your Partner Made Without Talking It Over With You First

Combining finances might not be the move.

Combining finances is a pretty common practice for married couples, or even those who have just been together a long time.

Buuuut it's not always the best idea.

Some people just don't see eye-to-eye when it comes to money.

I have a friend, for example, who recently told me about how his husband dipped into their joint savings account to buy a $600 gaming chair.

What about you? Has your spouse or long-term partner ever spent a ton of money on something without discussing it with you? If so, sound off in the comments for a chance to be featured in a BuzzFeed Community post.
