The humor and action was masterfully balanced. Plus it gave us Marisa Tomei's Aunt May! There is a God! If anything, that is top five worthy...right?

4. Thor: Ragnarok

Honestly, I was not a fan of the first two Thor films. The Thor franchise felt like the Handjob of the MCU universe. But this film proved that 3rd time is the charm. Plus, we got more Hulk (and he spoke)! Plus, I felt the stakes were higher. If not higher, then I felt I cared more about these stakes in this film than the past two. This film made the top five because it was Marvel's greatest redemption story.

3. Iron Man

Here is where the door opened! Tony Stark's chapter kicked off the universe and delivered to us a charming, action packed ride. RDJ is and always will be Tony! This film obviously earns a spot on the top five because without it, the last 10 years wouldn't exist.

2. Guardians of the Galaxy

Let's be honest, this was the biggest surprise the MCU gave us. When I heard this film's announcement, I just said "...Ok..." Then I saw it and was blown away! I was taken on a laugh-filled action packed joyride! The cast was strong, the script was snappy, and the director was a man with a plan. This remains one of the funniest films Marvel has made and it's biggest surprise success!

Plus, they made a soundtrack that is absolutely incredible!

With it's talented cast, sharp script and amazing director, this film gave an electric shock to the classic superhero formula.
