Shazam And Aquaman : DC's Comeback Tour

Now for the record, I have been a DC fan through and through. I have enjoyed their past movies, but popular opinion has dictated that all efforts, besides Wonder Woman, have been failures. But faith has been restored based upon the amazing trailers of Shazam and Aquaman.

Both films have an element of fun that people are digging!

Whether it was Shazam learning how to fly (and failing at first) or Aquaman stating "redheads" as the reason for Mera jumping out of a plane without a parachute, we all chuckled! While dark and brooding comic book tales have been popular in the past, it appears that people now prefer to have a more fun and lighthearted adventure. I believe with people facing more stress than previous generation, people desire a fun escape.

Plot? What's The Plot!?

Each trailer was quiet about the plots details. I mean we have an idea what the film will be about, but nothing major was revealed in the trailers. This gives people a chance to be surprised. One issue I had with Batman vs Superman was the reveal of Doomsday in the trailer. I feel that this would have been a fun surprise to experience watching the film. Much like how viewer found out the film Split was in fact a sequel to Unbreakable. Also, I am very excited about Glass. Surprises like these award fans for their viewership. Look at post-credit scenes. They award the patience of fans with hints of future plot lines.

R.I.P. The DCEU

The phrase or title DCEU is dead, and from the ashes rises The World Of DC. I believe this rebranding will allow DC to move forward and reach it full potential.
