5. The Dark Knight Returns Cover

If you do not know, the Frank Miller Graphic Novel The Dark Knight Returns was heavily used in this Batman V Superman. They even had Ben Affleck's Batman imitate the cover in one action scene where he is battling Doomsday.

4. Warehouse Scene

Batman swoops in Arkham Video Game style, clears the room and saves Martha Kent in Batman V Superman. It definitely felt like the comic book (minus killing)! Especially the Dark Knight Returns dialogue cleverly inserted into the scene!

3. The Alfred Banter

To have a great Batman, you must have a great Alfred to have that perfect witty banner. Jeremy Irons carried the torch strongly after it was so carried excellently by Michael Caine. Again the line above was lifted directly from the Graphic Novel The Dark Knight Returns For a Comic Book Geek as myself, I love that!

2. Batman vs Parademon

While Justice League was not positively received by many, it still had some gem moments #ReleaseTheSnyderCut. Anyways, the opening scene with Batman is top notch! Listening carefully, you can even hear Danny Elfman's score or a score inspired by his score.

This fight was amazing! It had lines from the actual source material as well as some new fresh liberties taken! I felt it was done...dare I say...justice!
