Critics finally got a peak at Adam Sandler's new video game nostalgia ride "Pixels". As you can see below, the reviews were "mixed."
Admittedly, it wasn't for everyone.
A few suggesting you should save your money.
Others threw out ideas to improve the script.
Or flat out questioned the actor's motivations.
Although some critics thought it hit the exact notes it was going for.

Even more found the film emotionally moving.
With a strong message throughout.
And a universal message.
