I have a FlexiSpot electric standing desk at home (this one, specifically) and love it — it's a great brand, and mine hasn't given me any issues over the past few years.

It's featured in this TikTok roundup! (It's a photo slideshow, so view on mobile!)

Promising review: "For 20 years, I owned and sat at a sturdy, wooden desk that I picked up at Goodwill for $50 in 2002. It served me very well for a long time. However, since recently moving into a new home, I wanted to make a change to something cooler, more modern, adjustable, and incapable of incentivizing me storing junk. I saw this desk on Amazon, read the good reviews, and determined this was the one. After assembling it, I am thrilled I chose this one. With a press of a button, I can raise and lower it to appropriate heights for either comfortably sitting or standing (I'm 5'10"). The material itself is very sturdy. There are NO drawers, which, after 20 years having the other home desk and having desks at work, I realized that drawers do nothing more than collect and store junk. Can't do that with this desk as this desk encourages minimalism and storing that junk somewhere else, i.e. probably the trash while I keep this desk tidy. Assembly was fairly easy. Definitely recommend." —David Taylor

Get it from Amazon for $239.99+ (available in five sizes and 10 styles).

    6. And a mini stepper sure to be a game changer, especially if a standing desk is already part of your WFH setup. It comes with resistance bands you can use to make it more of a full-body workout, but you can detach those to just use the stepping function and incorporate some exercise into your busy day! Multitasking, we love you.

Promising review: "A great gadget for those who WFH. I love this little workout machine. I have it on a nice high incline and use it when I have meetings or downtime. I had to talk myself into buying this because I thought it was not going to be worth the purchase, but I’m glad I did! Definitely way better than sitting at my desk all day." —Elimar

    7. Or a compact under-desk electric treadmill made for the multitasking mavens who want to incorporate more movement into their sedentary WFH schedule. It has an LED display that shows basic metrics like time, speed, and distance; a quiet motor (so you can focus on the work in front of you); and Bluetooth capability so you could even play music or a podcast through it.

Psst — You'll see more than one brand mentioned when it comes to walking pads on TikTok (where they're currently super popular) including the Umay under-desk treadmill — it comes in pink (!) but just an FYI that it isn't reviewed as highly on Amazon.

Promising review: "This thing is awesome. I'm a small, not technical person and managed to haul this thing up two flights of stairs (slowly), unbox, turn on and even connect my phone to the Bluetooth in it. No assembly. Simple instructions. Distance and time measurements seem to be accurate, but the 'calories' might be missing a decimal point. No squealing or groaning under my walking. Not too loud. Slides right under my bed. Didn't need to adjust the belt, though the tool to do so is included. Packaging says to oil every 30 hours. The remote is needed to make the treadmill function. It is extremely cheap — like dollar store cheap. I hope the company has a remote replacement for if/when the remote bites it. Even still, I would 100% buy this again. Great treadmill!" —Crowells

Promising review: "This product came very quick, was easy to assemble, and it’s very sturdy. I can’t believe it took me as long as it did to purchase a laptop stand as I’ve been working from home since October. It makes a big difference in my comfort sitting at my desk for eight hours. I have two screens, so I needed my laptop to be elevated so I don’t slump over. Hands down, an absolute must for the home office." —Amazon Customer

"Just set this monitor up, and so far it’s earned all 5 stars! It was easy to assemble, it’s compatible with my MacBook Pro (with a USB-C adapter), and the picture is great! I just wanted another monitor for when I work from home, so having something available that was affordable like this was perfect for what I needed." —Allison H.

I tried this mouse, and the pain and stiffness in my hand is gone. I’ll never go back! I will say it definitely takes a few days to get back to your normal working speed but now that I’m used to the mouse I love it. I use it with a keyboard to the left and then an Apple trackpad to the left of the keyboard for scrolling and panning. It’s comfortable and easy to use. You can download the mouse software and customize buttons on it, so I like that I have a copy and paste button now to cut down on hand movements on my keyboard." —Abigail Biegert

Promising review: "I work from home in a small apartment, and this really made my setup work the way I want it to. I need to use all six plugs, plus I like to keep my phone and Mi-Fi charging while working too. This was the perfect thing for me to get everything plugged in and essentially retrofitted into a built-in apartment wall desk setup that was intended for the large desktop towers of the late '90s. I’m ordering a second one in hopes it transforms another part of my weird floor plan. Bonus: The USB ports seem to fast charge my iPhone XS Max. Promising review: "This is a great device to organize all your mobile devices and charge them as well. I did not understand the LED function, but when you turn it on, each slot that is actively charging has slight blue glow to the divider. At a glance, you can see which devices are charging and which are charged. I like this. It is not so bright that it is distracting. I also love the fact that all my devices are now organized in one place with nice short codes for charging. Gone are all my cords snaked around on my desk. I am using it for both iOS and Android devices. The device only came with lightning cables, so I purchased some 6-inch USB-C cables for my Android devices. These come with a 24-key remote that controls the 16 different colors and four dimmable modes.

Promising review: "I purchased these to backlight my computer monitors and they work great. Very easy to apply (peel and stick) and easy to configure. 16 different colors, including white, can be selected via the remote control plus dimming. I think that background lighting can be more useful for computer monitors since you sit so much closer to them than your television. Also, the light given off by your monitor tends to be harsher since you are often viewing documents or other scenes with a white background. I'm thinking of purchasing longer strips of these lights to use as under-cabinet kitchen lighting or even to illuminate the toe-kick area. You could set different moods by adjusting the intensity and color." —GMak

Never thought about a ball chair until my doctor said maybe I should try it. Oh my goodness. Why didn’t he suggest this sooner?!! It works fantastic. Because it forces you to sit in an upright position and not slouch it relieves the pressure on the lower back and shoulder blades. 28. A memory foam chair cushion designed to relieve pressure on your tailbone, hips, and lower back while sitting for long periods of time — reviewers say it's worked wonders for their aches and pains. Basically, it's the best thing you'll do for your tushy all year.

Promising review: "On a long and uncomfortable flight to Hawaii, I managed to mess up my back and tailbone really bad. I even paid to have a professional massage done because seating was impossibly painful and I work either driving around all day or in my home office. Nothing seemed to help. That’s how I ended up here, looking for some relief. This stuff is magical, like sitting on the back of a unicorn while coming down a rainbow. I sat down on it and the pressure points were not giving me any issues; I was able to drive out of state the next day NO PROBLEM. Outstanding quality, doesn’t just squish down when you sit on it. The one issue is, you’ll be pretty high up if you plan on using it in the car, but not a deal breaker compared to my coccyx not killing me and having shooting pain up my leg and back. BUY IT! The cover is also removable and washable." —Mrs. J

    29. And a memory foam lumbar pillow from the same brand — it's designed to strap onto practically any chair for instant lower back support, simply a MUST if you work long hours at a desk. The mesh cover also keeps this pillow breathable so it doesn't get hot over time.

I've had this exact lumbar support pillow since 2018, back when I was still working in an office, and I can't express enough how much it's improved my posture and reduced back pain after long hours of sitting. I initially got it because I was stuck working in one of those awful office chairs with zero lower back support, and years later, I still use it at home, even though I have one of those fancy gaming chairs with built-in adjustable lumbar support, simply because I prefer how soft and comfortable this pillow is. It fills the curve of your spine *perfectly*, and you can adjust the positioning as needed, with straps that go around the back of your chair to hold it steady. I personally use it in conjunction with the ErgoFoam footrest above, and I never have back pain after working anymore.

Another promising review: "Both my fiancé and I work from home. He has a proper office and office chair and I work at our dining room table. I figured it was time to invest in something to help my back while sitting all day. Works really well! I should have done this months ago." —Emily Racioppi

Makes my work desk look more colorful and pretty! It feels like a good quality mat. The stitches surrounding the border are sewn on evenly and not cheap-looking. The feel is soft but durable. When I unrolled the mat, it flattened out easily and nicely without any creases or having to put heavy weights on the corners to flatten it out (unlike another similar desk pad brand that I bought for my home desk). As for function, I like that it also acts as a mouse pad for my mouse. Writing on paper with it underneath is not a problem, writing still feels smooth. Overall I love this beautiful mat." —Jessica
