Uno Confirmed That We've Been Playing The Game Wrong This Whole Time

    Rules are rules.

    Uno is the card game we all know and love. It has been a staple for years. Anyone who's ever played knows the basic premise: You have to get down to one card. Players play loose and fast with the rules and one thing people have been doing for years is stacking cards. It's common, simple, and effective.

    Well, over the weekend Uno announced on Twitter that you cannot, I repeat CANNOT stack +4 and +2 cards. That's kind of a big deal because, well...everybody does this.

    If someone puts down a +4 card, you must draw 4 and your turn is skipped. You can’t put down a +2 to make the next person Draw 6. We know you’ve tried it. #UNO

    Naturally, people had thoughts.

    @realUNOgame We don’t care lol now pick up a 6 🤣

    Most just weren't having it.

    @realUNOgame Instructions book says house rules apply so delete this asapually

    People stated house rules.

    @realUNOgame My deck, my rules...someone's eating this +24

    This person even said that the exact aforementioned move has led to fights.

    @absentstudent87 @realUNOgame Ok, from experience, let just say that this exact move has been grounds for a fight. 😂 Had my sister flinging those cards like she was Gambit.

    Someone even tried to reason with Uno, but they just weren't having it.

    The rejection of this announcement was strong.

    Let's just say this announcement isn't going to change the game for most people.

    @realUNOgame You really thought this would fly? Now pick up 6 and go

    What are your thoughts — do you respect Uno rules, or play however you wanna play?
