Jeff Victor is a 41-year-old artist based in Los Angeles who has been illustrating since he first picked up a crayon. He loves to draw characters from pop culture, and over the course of his career, he's drawn things for companies like Nickelodeon, Netflix, Warner Bros., DreamWorks, and Cartoon Network.
But as a huge fan of pop culture, Victor said he has a fascination with how characters evolve over the years. This interest led to him creating a series called "The Ultimate Pop Culture Evolution," which documents the changes in pop culture characters over the years.
Victor told BuzzFeed how he goes about creating the work. "First I pick a subject. I tend to favor actors who appear in genre movies, as they are the most visually interesting. Then, I narrow their career into six iconic roles. This can be the most challenging part, because for an actor who has had a ton of famous parts, everyone has their own idea of which is the most memorable. "
He added that he hopes people enjoy the artwork, and get a kick out of seeing a cartoon representation of their favorite actors or characters as they change over time. He plans to do a lot more, and even has a horror series in mind.
