Chances are that by now you've heard of the infamous and chaotic Fyre Festival that went down in April 2017.
The now infamous failed music festival has spawned two documentaries...
...countless jokes...
...and a very notable set of memes.
However, it somehow just got even better because last week the pitch deck that was presented to potential investors prior to the festival went viral on LinkedIn, and it is truly a sight to behold.
The deck was originally reported on by Nick Bilton for Vanity Fair, in May 2017, but has recently gotten a lot of attention again.
After going over the app part of the business, the festival part of the deck poses this question:
After a few slides and a ton of "Fyre" puns, it then gets to the section where it mentions the festival's celebrity promoters dubbed "Fyre Starters." It's a who's who of celebs featuring Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski, Bella Hadid, Hailey Baldwin, Ashanti, and many more.
The deck then features a flow chart detailing the brand strategy in four simple steps.
It also has a slide claiming that they had been given $8.4 million worth of market value land on the Black Point Exuma.
The presentation closes out with a motivational quote.
Naturally, after the deck came out people had very strong reactions.
And jokes.
Lots of jokes.
😑😑😑
What are your thoughts? Is the deck good? Compelling? Total nonsense?
