If You Regret Buying A House, We Want To Hear From You

Help us provide an *inside look* for people who aren't sure if home-buying is for them.

Home buying is often seen as a sign of financial success, but it isn't for everyone — and that's totally okay! In fact, you may have realized only *after* closing the deal and moving in that owning a home wasn't what you thought it would be.

So tell us why you think buying a home was a mistake for you (you'll be providing valuable insight that others can learn from).

Maybe you paid more attention to your monthly mortgage amount and totally underestimated the cost of property taxes and insurance.

Or perhaps you realized you valued being able to move around and experience different cities every couple of years — but it's hard to do that when you have a mortgage tied to one location.

Or maybe you were surprised by the costs of repairs around the home and wish you had waited a bit longer to save extra cash for renovations.

If you regret buying your home, tell us why in the comments below. And if you want to share your story anonymously, just submit your response through this Google form. You could be featured in an upcoming BuzzFeed Community post.
