Nicola Sturgeon casually gatecrashed this stag do in Glasgow on Thursday.
I'm at a stag in Scotland so of course the stag met Nicola Sturgeon.
The stag, Ruaraidh MacIntyre, told BuzzFeed News he had been playing bubble football – which is like football, but you're encased in a giant bubble – when he went out to the street in the southside of Glasgow to spot a familiar-looking figure.
"Aye, we came out and I turned a corner and I was kind of looking at her and thinking 'Is that…is that Nicola Sturgeon? Nah, it can't be,'" said MacIntyre as he took five minutes out of his stag to talk to us.
"But me and my pal are big SNP fans so I turned to him and said Nicola Sturgeon was there, then we ran after her and asked for a photo," said MacIntyre.
"We thought we looked suitably non-threatening so we chased after her, and she was nice enough to give me a photo."
MacIntyre said Scotland's first minister was walking by herself around the streets of Glasgow – where he and his friends went to university – and he wasn't entirely sure what she was doing there.
"She said something along the lines of her imagining we'd be in a state later on – something like 'I'm glad I met you now and not later on'," said MacIntyre. "It was the first time I've met her, and I had a very high opinion of her anyway, but she was very, very genuine, which is something very rare in politicians."
Sturgeon has since tweeted MacIntyre's mate Tobias Wilson to wish him luck on his big day.

Contrary to Sturgeon's fears, MacIntyre said he was expecting a quiet night rather than getting wasted in Glasgow's famous nightclub The Garage.
"We'll have some nice beers and that'll be it hopefully," said MacIntyre. "I've had good some nights in The Garage – but I think we're all a bit past it now."
