23 Of The Most Iconic TV Weddings In The History Of Love

    Happy Wedding Season!

    1. Jesse and Becky (Full House)

    ABBA / Via bustle.com

The lead-up to their big day was super silly: Jesse skydived into some tomatoes and ended up getting arrested. But we all know these two were (are!) the sweetest (and hottest) sitcom couple. Their love will surely last forever.

    2. Cory and Topanga (Boy Meets World)

boomstickcomics.com / Via Buena Vista Television

Cory and Topanga were the OTP of our childhood. They were perfect and STILL ARE. Sure, Topanga's decision to skip Yale was disappointing but her proposal was iconic.

    3. Matthew and Mary (Downton Abbey)

    BBC / Via divinity.es

Even though they weren't endgame (sigh), the Crawleys had a beautiful romance that made our hearts swell. Mary was fierce and independent while Matthew was kind and brave. MATTHEW DESERVED BETTER!

    4. Dwight and Angela (The Office)

    angelakinseyfans.com / Via NBC

Jim and Pam seem like the obvious choice, but this was the REAL will they/won't they relationship of the series. Also, Michael came back, Kelly and Ryan came back, and Jim's love for Dwight was a mega tearjerker.

    5. Lyanna Stark And Rhaegar Targaryen (Game of Thrones)

    HBO / Via gameofthrones.wikia.com

Honestly, it was just nice to see a GoT wedding that didn't end in horror. I mean, it started a whole war, but not DURING the wedding. Either way, their forbidden love created Jon Snow and makes us all mushy inside.

    6. Carol and Susan (Friends)

    previously.tv / Via NBC

Obviously, ALL of the Friends weddings are incredibly special, especially Monica and Chandler's, but we gotta mix it up and show some love to Carol and Susan. Although it didn't include a kiss (ugh), a lesbian wedding getting 31.6 million viewers in 1996 is pretty epic.

    7. Jack and Rebecca (This Is Us)

    NBC / Via usmagazine.com

The Pearsons stole our hearts on day one, especially Mom and Pop, and getting to watch their nuptials was deeply emotional. We'll never get over Jack's death, but at least we know their love will live on.

    8. Sinclair and Overton (Living Single)

    hulu.com / Via Fox

First and foremost, that kiss was HAWT. Also, Sinclair absolutely deserved to be the first of the singles to get hitched. Their wedding was classic, cute, and had some killer tunes. WE STAN!

    9. Marshall and Lily (How I Met Your Mother)

    CBS / Via it.wikipedia.org

Not only were Marshall and Lily an adorable (and sometimes gross) couple, but their wedding episode was pretty precious. From Marshall's hair disaster to the hilarious drunkenness, this was one of the show's best.

    10. Charlotte and Harry (Sex and the City)

    HBO / Via smashingtheglass.com

Charlotte and Harry's romance is one of the best arcs in SATC because we got to watch her grow into a better person. She also deserved the sweetness of Harry after the disastrous Trey. Bonus points for giving them such an elegant Jewish wedding.

    11. Jake and Amy (Brooklyn Nine-Nine)

    NBC / Via eonline.com

THANKFULLY this didn't end up being the series finale, but we can't deny it would've been a beautiful send-off. Also, that Nakatomi cake was the greatest cake that ever caked. Bonus: Gina Rodriguez guest-starred!

    12. Luke and Laura (General Hospital)

    abc.soapsindepth.com / Via ABC

Luke and Laura's pre-wedding relationship was 100% problematic, but they ended up becoming one of the most beloved couples in TV history. More importantly, their wedding was iconic and featured ELIZABETH FREAKING TAYLOR as a vengeful villainess who crashed the event.

    13. Carla and Turk (Scrubs)

    ABC / Via scrubs.wikia.com

Carla and Turk were one of the most realistic sitcom couples in history. They were proof that relationships take work, but you never doubted how much they belonged together. Also, they looked SHARP.

    14. Daphne and Donny (Frasier)

    NBC / Via retrowatching.com

Canceled weddings are a common theme in television, so we had to include ONE on this list. This was absolutely the best because it ended with Daphne and Niles FINALLY getting together. OTP! (Sorry, Donny.)

    15. Luke and Lorelai (Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life)

    Netflix / Via bustle.com

No matter how you felt about the revival, you can't deny how amazing it was to finally see these two get married. Their original canceled wedding was a devastation!

    16. Brittany and Santana (Glee)

Brittany and Santana / Via Fox

These two really kept each other grounded and we were so pleased that they got to be endgame after a WHOLE LOT OF DRAMA. Also, their wedding outfits were absolute fire.

    17. Meredith and Derek (Grey's Anatomy)

    ABC

Okay, the post-it exchange wasn't EXACTLY a wedding, but no Grey's fan is going to argue the significance of this moment. DEREK SHEPPARD DESERVED BETTER!

    18. Jenna and Paul (30 Rock)

    NBC / Via variety.com

There is nothing more inspiring than watching two weirdos find happiness. It's safe to say that no two characters were more perfect for each other. I mean... just look at the picture.

    19. Cam and Mitchell (Modern Family)

    modernfamily.wikia.com / Via ABC

This event was a long time coming, and it was so beautiful and important. We've been blessed with Cam and Mitchell for nearly a decade now and their wedding will forever be a big part of history.

    20. Mike and Carol (The Brady Bunch)

    bradybunch.wikia.com / Via ABC

It's a BOLD move to have the pilot episode of a sitcom include a wedding, but it was the perfect way to kick off this classic. This episode is bonkers and set the tone for the entire series.

    21. FitzSimmons (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D)

    ABC / Via tvline.com

You know how to make an unforgettable 100th episode? Surprise us with a gorgeous wedding right smack in the middle of some tragedy. Unfortunately, the marriage was kind of voided in the season finale, but we're hoping that means they'll just get a second one!

    22. Zack and Kelly (Saved by the Bell)

    w.gramunion.com / Via NBC

This event was SO EPIC, it got its own TV movie. The hijinks in Vegas were unforgettable and the wedding cameos were PERFECTION. Bless these two hotties.

    23. And, of course, every single wedding on Parks and Rec...

    NBC / Via popsugar.com, NBC / Via vulture.com

Most shows spend entire seasons building up to a big day, but Parks graced us with THREE surprise weddings, all of them beautiful and unique. Shoutout to Donna, too, who was given the show's only fully-planned wedding, which was gorgeous.
