    "Practical Magic" Is Turning 20 — Here's What The Cast Looks Like Now

    October 16th marks 20 years since Practical Magic was released!

    Sandra Bullock (Sally Owens)

    Then: The late '90s were a busy time for Sandy. In '97 she starred in Speed 2: Cruise Control, made Hope Floats and provided her voice in The Prince of Egypt the same year as Practical Magic. Before the decade ended, she also starred in Forces of Nature.

    Now: Sandra Bullock is still a powerhouse today. She won her first Oscar for The Blind Side in 2010 and was nominated again for Gravity in 2014. She recently starred in Ocean's 8 and will be seen in the upcoming thriller Bird Box, which features one of her O8 co-stars, Sarah Paulson.

    Nicole Kidman (Gillian Owens)

    Then: Nicole Kidman was also thriving in the '90s, starring in Eyes Wide Shut soon after Practical Magic. The years that followed were just as successful with Kidman starring in The Others in 2001 as well as Moulin Rouge, which earned her first Oscar nomination. She was also nominated the following year for The Hours.

    Now: Nicole is on fire these days! Last year, she won an Emmy for Big Little Lies, earned an Oscar nomination for her role in Lion, and starred in The Killing of a Sacred Deer and Top of the Lake. She can soon be seen in Boy Erased and Aquaman.

    Aidan Quinn (Gary Hallet)

    Then: Aidan Quinn was constantly working during the time of Practical Magic, most notably co-starring in Music of the Heart in 1999, which was nominated for two Oscars.

    Now: Quinn currently has a starring role on Elementary, playing Captain Thomas Gregson. You can also catch him in the upcoming films Change in the Air and Butterfly in the Typewriter.

    Stockard Channing (Aunt Frances)

    Then: 20 years after her iconic performance as Rizzo in Grease, Stockard Channing was still busy, making multiple TV movies and providing the voice of Barbara Gordon in the Batman Beyond series. In 1999, she began her long run of playing Abbey Bartlet on The West Wing, which earned her four Emmy nominations.

    Now: Channing had a recurring role on The Good Wife until the show ended in 2016. She's made multiple television appearances in the last couple of years, including Difficult People and The Guest Book.

    Dianne Wiest (Aunt Jet)

    Then: Another acting legend, Diane Wiest played Aunt Jet only three years after winning her second Oscar for Bullets Over Broadway. In 1998, she was also in The Horse Whisperer and she went on to co-star in the beloved mini-series The 10th Kingdom in 2000.

    Now: Wiest currently stars as Joan in Life In Pieces, which is about to start its fourth season. She can also be seen in the upcoming Clint Eastwood film, The Mule.

    Goran Visnjic (Jimmy Angelov)

    Then: In 1998, Goran Visnjic also appeared in Rounders and went on to be featured in two Madonna music videos. In 1999, he began playing Luka Kovac on ER, which he continued to do until 2008, appearing in 185 episodes.

    Now: Visnjic has continued to have a successful television career, most recently playing Garcia Flynn on Timeless, which was tragically canceled this summer. He's currently filming two movies, General and Fatima.

    Evan Rachel Wood (Kylie)

    Then: Despite only being 11-years-old, Evan Rachel Wood had already made multiple onscreen appearances by the time she played Kylie. She was featured in American Gothic, Profiler, and began playing Jessie Sammler on Once and Again in 1999.

    Now: Wood is a powerhouse today and just received her second Emmy nomination in a row for playing Dolores Abernathy on Westworld. She has many projects in the works, including Miranda July's next film and Frozen 2.

    Alexandra Artrip (Antonia)

    Then: Practical Magic was Artrips third and final role onscreen, previously appearing in episodes of Walker, Texas Ranger and Touched By An Angel.

    Now: Based on her Instagram, Artrip appears to be thriving. She even posted a Practical Magic throwback photo this week in honor of the start of October. She also has an adorable poodle named Oliver, who has an Instagram of his own.

    Camilla Belle (Young Sally)

    Then: Camilla Belle was 12 when she took on the role of young Sandy, but she had been working steadily in the biz since '93. Her most notable role before Practical Magic was playing Jane in A Little Princess. She also appeared in The Lost World: Jurassic Park and just like her co-star appeared in an episode of Walker, Texas Ranger.

    Now: Camilla hasn't stopped making movies since her days of being a child actor. Her most recent roles include the films The American Side, Sundown, and The Mad Whale.
