Jennifer Lopez's Best MTV Video Music Awards Fashion Looks

Jennifer Lopez has decided to NOT let anyone catch a break — she's still slaying the red carpet twenty years later.

On Monday, August 20th, Jennifer Lopez is accepting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. And while we are excited that J.Lo is being honored for her musical work, I want to know what she is going to WERK on that red carpet, honey!

What I love is that J.Lo kills the red carpet. Every. Time. But here's a look back on Lopez's epic style evolution at the VMAs:

Jenny from the block hit the ground running, stepping out in this leather maxi skirt and a metallic halter top that showed us a very young (and toned) J.Lo.

Jen has a love of leather, and honestly who's going to judge her?! She pulled the metallic halter top and a black leather skirt again, but she's undeniably STUN.NING.

This was pinnacle early 2000s R&B style. I don't know anyone who didn't want to rock an all-white outfit like this after J.Lo, even if we couldn't wear the short Sean John crop top or pull off the bedazzled bandana. Also, this was one of my favorite hip-hop couples of all time.

By this point, Jennifer Lopez and fiancé Cris Judd looked like two sweet Bohemians roaming through, which I completely stan. Lopez wore a Roberto Vacalli mini dress, thigh-high boots, and a floppy hat. Love.
