There is a theory that what is considered traditionally beautiful or attractive in Western society (current day) is actually just symmetry. Specifically a symmetrical face.
This theory was tested by Unilad who photoshopped many faces that are already attractive, and made them perfectly symmetrical. Here are the 12 experiments:
