Sometimes I wake on a Sunday morning like this...

...even when my Saturday night consisted of a Netflix and coloring book ~rager~.

And when I get to the fridge and see that my La Croix shelf is empty, it doesn't make things any easier.

Yes, I have a dedicated La Croix shelf. Be jealous.

Because I live in a city and don't have a car, I buy a lot of my groceries online. Trust me, it's better than hauling a king's ransom of cans half a mile back to my apartment.

So one Sunday morning, after checking La Croix prices from another large online retailer (*cough* Amazon *cough*) and deciding that $1.50/can was too much even for a die-hard La Croix-head like me (full disclosure: you can get it cheaper if you're a Prime Fresh member, but I am not), I found myself on Jet.

I'd looked on Jet a few months earlier (I comparison-shop La Croix a lot, sorry not sorry), but wasn't hugely impressed with its selection. But lately friends had been telling me Jet had great prices on groceries, so I figured I'd give it one more shot.

Here's what I found: The baseline for a 12-pack of most flavors of La Croix on Jet is $6.29, but the prices could drop the more you buy.

As I was debating how many 12-packs to buy (six is downright restrained, if you ask me), I noticed that the more packs I added to my cart, the cheaper each one got. (See above for the thrilling before and after.)

A lot of the products Jet (the ones marked with little purple arrows) get cheaper as you buy more. When you're used to having your heart broken by sneaky hidden fees, watching the prices tick down as you add stuff to your cart is basically a revelation.

Also, the Jet Heads (that's what Jet calls its customer service reps — and tbh I'm on the fence about the name) earned my eternal gratitude by helping me in my time of need.

Said time of need was the one in which I typed in my shipping address incorrectly because, you know, 8:30 a.m. on a Sunday, and because I was so excited about paying LESS THAN 50 CENTS per can for La Croix. And then I checked out anyway, only to freak out moments later and call the Jet Heads.

Within 45 seconds (I timed it), they had solved the problem.

And that order, the one I placed at 8:30 a.m. on a Sunday? It arrived at 5 p.m. the same day.

Long story short? Sometimes Jet is cheaper than Amazon.

And I don't mess around when it comes to La Croix.
