My Dad The Ironman - A Tribute To My Father
Marc Wolfman is an Ironman. After one year of training night and day, my dad entered the Ironman competition in Madison, Wisconsin on September 8, 2013. 16 of the best martial arts trickers from across the world met in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 19, 2012 to battle in the world's first tricking championship. Beginning in the 1990s, tricking has been an evolving subculture based around the practice of mixing acrobatics with martial arts kicks to create highly stylized and dynamic kicks, flips, and twists. This extreme practice has seen significant growth in the last several years largely fueled by the online tricking community using YouTube and Facebook. This event marks the first time many of these athletes had actually met, trained, and battled face to face. It's not tricking unless you're kicking!
