    Interracial Relations

Who is to say that you or I should love who?

Love is Love, Love is for All

In 2013 Cheerios aired a heartfelt commercial that featured an interracial couple and their mixed daughter. The commercial sparked the attention of thousands and thousands of viewers. During this attention-seeked commercial, the daughter asks her (white) mother if Cheerios cereal is really good for your heart. The mother responds with the fact that Cheerios is known for sharing and broadcasting, "Cheerios has whole grain oats that can help remove/lower cholesterol and that's heart healthy." Gracie, the couple's daughter grins and takes the box of Cheerios with her. The following scene is of her (African-American) father asleep on the couch. He wakes up to a mountain of cheerios on his heart/chest area.
