10 Things You Get Tired Of Hearing When You Are A Triplet

People seem fascinated by triplets, but sometimes the topics and questions can get pretty repetitive. First world problems though, right?

It’s true, being a triplet isn’t all that common. And people seem to get pretty interested in it, from my experience anyway.

Over the years, I’ve talked about it many times and been asked plenty of questions – many of which I’ve become a bit tired of hearing. Here are a few examples:

1. What’s that like?

2. Who’s the oldest?

Why is that so important?

3. That must be so cool

I don’t know, is it?

4. Your poor parents

Sure, it was probably tough, but you’d like to think it was worth it…

5. Can you read each other’s minds?

No.

6. If one of you gets hurt, do the others feel it?

No.

7. Were you natural?

Getting a bit personal here, let’s move the conversation on.

8. Are you identical?

I’ll just stick a picture of the three of us on my forehead so I don’t ever have to answer.

9. Are you really close?

We get along sometimes, sure. Other times, we don’t. Isn’t that just being siblings, though?

10. Were you in the same classes?

Surprisingly, as we went to the same school and were in the same year, yeah that happened sometimes.

I'm joking with these sassy responses. I really don't mind chatting to people about it. But sometimes, it can get a little bit annoying.
