Syracuse University was founded in 1831 and honestly everything was going fine until YOU showed up. Rules? You’ve never heard of them. Campus traditions? Who cares! You wear an ESF t-shirt even though you’re an SU student (or vice-versa). You take seven shots, insist you aren’t drunk, then disappear in the middle of the party. You always change your Chipotle order. You do not know the words to the fight song, in fact- maybe you didn’t even know Syracuse HAS a fight song. And yes, not caring about sports DOES make you edgy and cool.

Did you just hear someone cough? Why is your roommate going through tissues so fast? Did you get every mumps booster shot? Can you feel your lymph nodes swelling RIGHT NOW? You wash your hands a lot, drink emergen-c at the first sign of a runny nose, and yell at sick people when they stand too close to you. You forward every email from health services to your mom, just so she’s totally up to date. It’s not that we blame you for being worried about getting sick- the mumps ARE sweeping through campus of course, but could you maybe chill out a little bit?

What’s better than Syracuse University? Nothing! No one Bleeds Orange more than you. You are that type of person who will take your engagement photos at the kissing bench and make sure to go to ALL the alumni tailgates. Your happy place? The Dome. Every story you will tell to your kids will start with “When I was at Syracuse…” Your phone background is probably a bunch of selfies you got with Otto the Orange compiled into a nice collage.
