Hey Hornbags, Kel Knight From "Kath & Kim" Just Delivered A PSA About The Coronavirus

This is noice, different and unusual.

It's said that in times of gloom and despair, we look to things that fill us with joy and happiness. And for just about every Aussie, that has to be the nostalgic, hornbag-filled episodes of Kath & Kim.

Now, although the show ended in 2007, it still remains as relevant as ever. My evidence? This video featuring the legendary Kel Knight — husband to the glorious Kath Day-Knight — doing a PSA about the coronavirus on TikTok.

Uploaded to Daniel Andrews' account, who is the premier of Victoria and has a surprisingly active TikTok page, the minute-long skit features Kel phoning Kath before heading to the supermarket.

They discuss the usual topics — like if they're running low on "toot paper" and a reminder to stay on the social distancing dots and to bring your own bags.

As well as a reminder for Kath to tell Kim to download the government's COVIDSafe tracing app.

The video wraps up with Kel talking about their fancy dress bin night, with him dressing as state premier Daniel Andrews and Kath as NZ PM Jacinda Ardern.

Check out the full clip below to witness the entirety of Kel's trademark fringe and glorious Hawaiian shirt combo.
