    3. Waking up early on a Saturday morning wasn't always the easiest though.

    4. And if you overslept and missed all the best cartoons, well, there was a good chance you were going to be in a bad mood for the rest of the day.

    5. But if you were an early bird, you got to watch this iconic introduction, which only made you more hyped for the show to begin.

    6. Even more exciting was getting to see the first episode of a brand new Disney show.

    7. But while the cartoons on Saturday Disney were good, the skits, segments, and mini-series were the best part.

    8. Double Dog Dare was always good for a laugh, but the gross food punishments made you gag a little.

    9. While the travel-themed episodes in locations like Disneyland had you begging your parents for a holiday.

    10. You would cross your fingers and toes that you'd hear your name during Letter of the Week.

    11. And were always slightly jealous and bitter when your name never popped up on the screen.

    12. Although you loved all three of the Saturday Disney hosts equally, deep down you knew you had a favourite.

    13. And more than often, you developed a MAJOR crush on someone in the group.

    14. But this only make it harder to say goodbye when they decided to leave the show.

    15. One day you hoped to become a Saturday Disney host yourself.

    16. And would spend all your free afternoons either making entries for Letter of the Week, or thinking up new ideas for segments.

    17. As you got older, life sort of got in the way of your weekly ritual of watching Saturday Disney.

    18. Though that didn't mean you were still majorly bummed when you heard it had been cancelled.

    19. But, hey, at least you'll always have your memories of waking up early every Saturday morning to remember it by. 💖
