    INGREDIENTS

    Serving Size: 12

    6 mini sized bagels, halved

    8 ounces steak

1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced

    1/2 cup onion, diced

    1/2 cup mushroom, diced

    Salt, to taste

    Pepper, to taste

    Olive oil

12 slices Provolone cheese, or white American

    PREPARATION

    Preheat the oven to 400ºF.

Cut steak into small chunks, if it's hard to cut, chill steak in freezer for 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a cast iron skillet over high heat, add steak pieces, sear on a high heat for 1-2 minutes, then remove steak from pan.

Keep the juice from searing steak in skillet, and add pepper and onion, cook for 3-4 minutes, then add mushrooms.

Add steak back into skillet, then season with salt and pepper. After everything is mixed well, remove the skillet from heat, set aside.

Place bagel slices on a baking sheet, then put about 2 tablespoons of meat and veggie mixture on each bagel slice, top with a slice of Provolone cheese.

Bake for 12-15 minutes at 400ºF / 200˚C until the cheese is melted and bagel is crispy on the bottom.

    Serve immediately, enjoy!
