I Created #DJKhaledChallenge To Support My DJ Wife

The life of a DJ's Wife is hard work! Long nights, lugging around 50 lbs speakers all the while wearing 6 inch heels to keep the groupies at bay. Nothing makes me more proud than telling the world that my Wife is the best DJ in the Universe. It's all worth it when you hear your DJ Bae rocking down the house!

I have great calf muscles, sublime biceps, I drink for free most places we go and if I'm lucky I get to watch my Wife, DJ Tricey Trice, in her element all night. The #DJKhaledChallenge started after a conversation about an out of town gig she was scheduled for at the University of Madison Wisconsin for their Annual Melanin Fest that I was able to get off in time. #RetailHours am I right or am I right? Before she goes on stage I'm usually back there hyping her up in my "DJ Khaled" voice; "You the best!" "You a mogul" "You're edges are always slayed" "You're skin's always glowing" "Melanin Popping!" This time I recorded it so that she could see it before her performance because I would be out on the sales floor and away from my phone. We decided to post it on Facebook for fun for our family and friends because they always joke with us about being too lovey. Within 2 hours it was as if the post exploded! The video has been shared over 90 times and watched about 7k times! I was in complete shock! Had I known we would be going viral I would have retwisted my hair or slapped some makeup on my face!

Once I noticed we were getting so many likes and shares I named it the #DJKhaledChallenge because I don't think it's such a monumental thing to support your spouse in what they love doing. It's not hard to wake up everyday and let your spouse or SO that they're great, the best that ever did it and that you know they're going to have to a fantastic day. They don't have to be super awesome rockstars or disc jockeys like my Wife, even if they're the manager at your local Target, you can hype them up too! "You're the best that ever managed" "You give everybody a break on time" "You're body looks amazing in red and khaki!" It doesn't even have to be super serious compliments just something that you know is going to add happiness to their day. Everyone can feel like Asahd Khaled if you have your number one fan in your corner saying "You the best!" "We the best!"
