February is many things to many people. But at The Insurance Information Institute, we’re insurance folks. So for us, it’s all about Insurance Career Month.

“Insurance is boring!” you say? “Why would jobs for pushy sales people and risk-averse pencil pushers get their own month?”

Well, for one thing, insurance businesses employ more than 2.6 million Americans in all 50 states—and they’re always hiring. And for another, insurance is a leader in diversity and inclusion (among financial activities industry sectors). Need more? Insurance plays a vital role in helping communities, businesses and families recover from disasters of all kinds.
