Did "The Flash" Just Give Up The Season 4 Big Bad??

Season 3 of "The Flash" has come and gone. Iris is alive, Barry is in the Speedforce, and we just might know who the Big Bad will be for Season 4!

Barry FINALLY Does the Right Thing

    DeVoe, AKA The Thinker

Turns out Clifford DeVoe was a terrible lawyer, who went all dark side back in the day, using all the tech he could get his hands on to become a major nemesis of Jay Garrick, the OG Flash.

He fights on for decades, eventually knocking heads with Barry, too. The main device he uses is called "The Thinking Cap," which really just looks like a colander with wires and shit coming out of it, but his look has changed over the years.

    The Thinker 2.0

Does that look scarier to you? Hmm. IDK. Anyway, the showrunners have told us the Big Bad for Season 4 will NOT be another speedster, which gave all of us out there a HUGE sigh of relief.

The opening of the show was Barry always saying he was "the fastest man alive," but was that EVER true? Eh, not so much. Hell, EVERYONE was faster than Barry-even goofy Wally! What the hell?

So I'm more than ready to have a non speedster as the Big Bad. Tracy Brand has also been rumored to possibly be the next nemesis, considering her boo H.R. just bit it in the finale. I'd welcome that.

I think the season long Big Bad thing is running its course anyway. "Marvel's Agents of Shield" did a very good thing this past season, breaking it up into 3 distinct parts: The Ghost Rider, The LMDs, and the Framework/Hydra deal. As a result, the storytelling was much tighter, with few, if any, filler episodes.

So here's a suggestion: break up Season 4 of "The Flash" into 2 or 3 plots. Maybe Tracy as a villain, then bring in The Thinker. And, since Barry will be in the Speedforce prison for who knows how long, eating Mommy's home cooking, this might be a fun arc:
