Stumbled Upon 'Girl Defined' Ministry On YouTube

In this week's Blonde & Forgiven blog, I spend sometime getting to know Girl Defined Ministries through their YouTube channel.

GirlDefined Ministries' YouTube Is Exactly What You Need to Subscribe too.

Every week I log on to YouTube thinking that I will only spend five minutes watching the newest video from my favorite YouTuber, but I routinely find myself going down the 'YouTube black hole' of suggested videos.

This week, though, I stumbled upon a channel called Girl Defined. Thankfully the saga of 'watch Haley go down YouTube's black hole of videos' ended up with sisters Kristen Clark and Bethany Baird.

    GirlDefined Ministry

Kristen Clark and Bethany Baird are sisters that started the GirlDefined Ministries in Texas. The sisters are esteemed authors, bloggers, and YouTubers. The goal for their ministry is to encourage girls to view beauty, femininity, and self-worth in a transformative way through God's word.

Their laid back, older sisters vibe helps the viewers grasp that idolizing our culture's ways of measuring self-worth and beauty are misguided. They work to redirect the viewer to having affirmations come from God's word, not our world.

The sisters create content for their videos by using personal stories, God's word, and discussing topics that thousands of girls can be inspired by. These sisters aren't afraid to tackle some of the cultural struggles that every women faces.

The girls don't just rock at their YouTube channel, they also create great content on their blog and other social media sites. Links below!
