Which WNBA Team Should You Root For?

What's your go-to shot?

After you make your go-to shot, how are you celebrating?

After the game, your teammates invite you out for some pizza. What do you say?

The next day, Coach calls you aside.

"But Coach," you say. "There's no practice today. Why are you in my home?"

Coach pulls an index card out of his pocket. Taped to it is a key.

You get close enough to read the index card. It says...

"If we're going to go, we have to go now," Coach says. "Are you ready to battle?"

You approach the border; of what, you're not sure. Coach turns to you from the driver's seat and says his final words to you. "It's time."

"It's time," he repeats, or maybe it's just an echo as your world goes black.

Congratulations! You got the 2005 WNBA champs themselves, the Sacramento Monarchs! Starring the likes of Yolanda Griffith and Ticha Penicheiro, the Monarchs defeated the Connecticut Sun three games to one to win their first title. One of the original eight WNBA teams, the Monarchs are best known for still existing today.
