You come from a time when all ladies were expected to marry and have children, but you wrote about how there was so much more to life than who to marry. History portrays you just as your famous heroines are: witty, introverted, and well read while still being kind to those you love. Your work has some of the most enjoyable adaptations, and your quick dialogue and characters paved the way for more quick witted female leads.

It's so easy for you to be written off as mysterious and dark, but your work argues for cooperation, and so do you. Though in your time your work was simpler than other novels and poems, the political and philosophical themes are far more eloquently put than people at the time knew.
