My Thoughts on "I Know":
BTS means the world to me and even though they would most likely never read this, I would still want to show how much I love them.
Whenever I hear this song, I always remind myself that 'I will forever be Bangtan's fan.' Their angelic voices are so beautiful. They always thank ARMYs for the love and support, and "I Know" shows that they really love us. They're the group that first stood out to me among all of the other groups. It's through BTS that I feel appreciated and needed in this world for the first time. They're such a genuine and sincere group, and they work so hard.
In the song, the fact that they included boys and acknowledged gender equality was amazing. They care about both genders of fans and that's so heart-warming, compared to most other groups/bands I know. I feel so proud of BTS and their music. They're the first group that I enjoy listening to all of their music/songs.
Here's a quote from "Stargirl" by Jerry Spinelli that similarly shows how I sometimes feel about BTS in a sense:
"She was illusive. She was today. She was tomorrow. She was the faintest scent of a cactus flower, the flitting shadow of an elf owl. We did not know what to make of her. In our minds we tried to pin her to a corkboard like a butterfly, but the pin merely went through and away she flew."
They're so precious, outstanding, talented, kind, and perfect. So extraordinary, so distant, yet so close. I know that "no one's perfect," but there's an exception for BTS. Their love towards ARMY will never fade.
"I Know" is dedicated to thank ARMYs, but I feel as though I should be thanking them. Without BTS, I'm a lost star searching for a sky that I can settle on to feel safe and treasured. There's no need to find celestial galaxies and wishing stars when I have BTS by my side. BTS always makes me feel motivated to achieve my dreams. There's a long path in front of me, it will be hard, but it'll all be worth it in the end. I feel supported by BTS and I wish to meet them one day. But even if I don't, I know that as an ARMY, I'd still be in their hearts.
