Promising review: "We need something to let the kids sing without having to turn on the whole karaoke system. This works like a charm. The Bluetooth connection helps as well. You can just turn on YouTube and look for any song and they probably have a karaoke version or a song-a-long they can sing to. The range is also great. We were outside and the volume can be heard nicely." —Phong Bui

This is the perfect solution. I have a few of these now behind couches and dressers in the house and they are great. This is more expensive than some other flat extension cords but I think the look and quality of these is worth it." —Adam C.

I got this product out of desperation. It was a good size and weight for kitties bouncing around. I am truly shocked and enormously happy with how it works! My husband was at wits' end with his sensitive nose. He goes in there now and is astonished, no smell. We are getting another for the kitchen! The room is 10×10, and I use it one the two setting. I also enjoy the night light. Very helpful without disturbing sick sleepy babies recovering from illness." —victoria Mohagen

Multiple sizes, easy to use, and perfect to add that extra something to whatever it is you're working on! Purchased mine for behind my computer monitor and the amount of light is perfect when playing games or using my computer at night as the red setting helps keep me from having a bright light going on. Also great to add when watching videos or movies as you can color-match the screen to add a new layer to your experience. For the price and quality, you can't beat it!" —Timothy S. Smith

    a model holding the remote

Promising review: "I have three sets of these and use them at home and at my cabin in the Rockies. They work great and power through walls. I use one to turn on and off a painting light that otherwise could only be turned on by climbing onto the fireplace and carefully reaching up and behind the painting to turn on. Why get up and stumble around to turn on a light?" —Lee

The flames looked very real." —John Collier

    12. A turntable that'll help bring music into your living room in an old school (but now super trendy) way while also adding in a conversational piece of decor.

My husband has this record player and it's become such a beloved piece in our home. We love putting it on during dinner time and letting the music drift from the living room into the kitchen while we cook. Super soothing and gives you an excuse to start searching for all kinds of vinyl records to add to your collection. Note that you'll need to also pick up a pair of speakers to get the full experience.

Promising review: "I've been collecting vinyl for about nine years now and finally upgraded from my Crosley (a great beginner turntable) to this system. The sound quality is to die for, and I am incredibly happy about my purchase! I paired this system with Edifier R1280T Powered Bookshelf Speakers — I am very satisfied with the sound output, and the setup between the system and speakers was incredibly easy (especially for someone who isn't incredibly tech savvy). Would recommend if you are looking for an upgrade from a 'basic' turntable and want to hear an improved quality of your records, but don't want to break the bank." —RK

I'm obsessed with candles, so it was a no-brainer for my husband to gift me this surprisingly super fun gadget. It's really simple to use and charge, and it really works! I'll never have to buy another lighter again.

Promising review: "This is seriously the coolest device of my winter holiday. It makes lighting candles a breeze. Yes, there is a weird crackling noise, but that's a super minor annoyance. It's a super intuitive device. Plus the lighter with the USB (included), charge for a bit, then pop it open and light ALL THE THINGS; well, candles. I don't know how well it lights cigarettes or whatever. However, for my personal intended use, it's awesome!" —Jee W

    the vacuum/mop

My parents bit the bullet and brought a robo-vac into their home. They were hesitant about the new tech, but after giving it a go and seeing how thorough this lil' machine was they were over the moon. My mom especially loves how it has the ability to not only vacuum, but mop the entire house as well. It's magical.

Promising review: "Pricey but well worth it. My husband uses a push-style broom on our hardwood floors about four times a week. He tries hard but I felt like my feet were always picking up dirt. This little guy did about 2,000 square feet of our home in no time with battery to spare. My floors feel cleaner then ever. Still clean today. This smart thermostat will do all the work for you — and when you *do* actually have to make any updates to the temp in your home you can do it all from your phone, tablet, or laptop. I just installed two into my new home and am really impressed so far. It's been super convenient being able to put the heat up from my phone before heading over while we're still somewhat under construction.

Promising review: "We have had our best thermostat for a little over a year now and I have to say we love it. I would give 10 stars if I could!!! The features are amazing. I like that. You can adjust the temperature when you’re not home plus it syncs with the weather and knows when to adjust the temperature. Plus it knows when you’re home or away and learns your routine. We keep it set to a temperature range where in the winter it won’t go below a set temperature and in the summer it won’t go above a set temperature. No more switching back and forth between heat and AC in our crazy Texas weather. Our electric bill is significantly lower. It takes a couple weeks for it to learn your routine. I looked for one with great reviews because I had one before that ended up breaking, and I love this one. It can charge six devices at the same time and not have a slowdown or overheating problem. I would buy this again. It's durable and very sleek-looking, whereas my old one was kind of bland-looking and had some of the ports break. We have ours mounted in a narrow spot alongside our fridge — it's really easy to keep in plain sight without being an eyesore.

Promising review: "I love this vacuum. The V10 doesn't disappoint. While it's weird to get used to holding this tiny piece of machinery, it really does an amazing job. It was incredible how much dog fur it picked up! I was pretty grossed out to be honest, to think I lived in this atmosphere for this long 'thinking' it was clean is nuts! I love all the attachments too, they are all top notch and well made. I feel like I can tackle my entire house with this bad boy. AND it's lightweight! I use it on the lowest setting and it still picks up a ton. I don't think I'll ever need the high or medium setting. But I did try the highest setting for a few seconds and literally felt like the vacuum was ATTACHED to the floor, that's how hard it sucked (in a good way)!" —Matthew Mintun

Of course I then come back to my coffee to find it's already cold. I've currently got the warmer at my office and it's working great. I can sip my coffee leisurely over the course of an hour and it's still nice and warm." —Elle

Get it from Amazon for $10.99.

    24. An Amazon Fire TV Stick so whether you want to watch old seasons of Keeping Up with The Kardashians or Only Murders in the Building, you won't have to leave your couch.

Movie marathons will never be the same after buying this little gadget, you can truly watch anything your heart desires. See ya', social life.

Promising review: "I've been using the Fire TV stick for about two years, so I was a little skeptical ordering the 4G stick. That 'skeptical' label can be removed right now. App downloads are much shorter, and the picture is much sharper. So far it hadn't needed re-powering (like when the old stick became stuck). All that might change next week, but right now I think Amazon has hit a home run with this product." —J. Henson

Get it from Amazon for $34.99.

    25. A zippered sleeve to keep all of those pesky wires and plugs under control and out of your way so when you finally get around to hanging your fabulous new TV on the wall it won't look like a hot mess.

Promising review: "I have no idea why these are not sold everywhere. PERFECT for my room! I ended up getting this due to my king size bed being against a wall with only one outlet. I needed a way to connect my two lamps on my nightstand and this is absolutely, without a doubt, the very best solution to connecting my lamps and also not having all my outlets taken up.
