    Football star Jermain Defoe attends BEST FRIEND Bradley Lowery’s funeral by skipping his training camp

    After news of the passing of cancer victim, Bradley Lowery, was known, his best friend, Jermain Defoe, left his pre-season training camp in Spain to attend his funeral.

    Professional footballer Jermain Defoe and Bradley Lowery were best pals since the days when Defoe was with the football team, Sunderland, and Lowery was the team’s mascot. After Lowery’s family announced that their young boy had died from a rare form of childhood cancer, Defoe immediately made plans to attend Lowery’s funeral.

    Defoe, who has since moved to Bournemouth football team, left the team’s pre-season training camp in Spain on July 13, to attend the funeral in the UK. The team’s official Twitter posted, “@IAmJermainDefoe has today departed our pre-season training camp and returned to the UK for the funeral of Bradley Lowery.”
