Hi hey hello! If you love ice cream just as much as you fear it (due to dairy sensitivity), you've come to the right post.

    It me🍦.

Idk about you, but I looooove soft serve more than anything on earth. It destroys my stomach, but come summer time I will cave to my cravings. So I mustered up the one ounce of self-preservation I have and found a machine for making dairy-free soft serve alternative.

I whipped up this bowl of dairy-free deliciousness (with a frozen tropical fruit blend) right after scowling and running away from my enemy, the ice cream truck. How did I do it?!?

Behold, the Gourmia frozen dessert maker. Not only does this babe make instant soft serve sorbet, it does so with only one ingredient — frozen fruit. All you do is put the fruit in the top and press down, similar to a juicer.

    No. Added. Sugar. Needed.

The machine works best if you let the fruit thaw for 10 minutes beforehand, otherwise you have to press down pretty hard to get sorbet.

Here is a gif so you can see her work with your own eyes; from frozen mixed berries to a world class dessert.

The cleanup is super easy because it has removable parts. I always clean mine right after use with hot water, and it takes just a few minutes.

Will this machine make ice cream equivalent to dairy soft serve? No. But so far every fruit I've tried has come pretty close! You can also freeze and use your own fruits.

I was spending way too much on bags of frozen fruit, so I made this mango soft serve by chopping and freezing a mango in a ziplock bag. Mango is my fav so far, but banana with chocolate chips sprinkled on top is also delish. Adding banana alongside other fruits (like strawberry) will give your soft serve a ~berry~ creamy texture.

Stop dreading the sound of ice cream trucks, get your own, and eat dairy-free ice cream for breakfast every day like me.

Promising review: "Great product! We've been loving this frozen dessert maker. We made sorbet with it every day since it arrived. Great to be able to make delicious and healthy dessert. Even my 4-year-old is able to help with making the sorbet, and it makes healthy eating so much fun!" —Plano mama

Get it from Amazon for $42.99 or from Bed Bath & Beyond for $39.99 (includes recipe booklet).

    Bon appe~treat~!
