Despite seeming cold and unfeeling, Ji-sand masks his soft heart and inner pain and yearns for closeness with people, which doesn't last long when he meets a certain doctor.

This is a sports drama that leans more on actual sport than romance. It is also a series that's based off a manga. Lu Xia is a tennis prodigy who lived overseas since he was a child. However, trapped under the shadows of his father, Lu Xia only sees tennis as a tool to please him, losing the actual passion and happiness in playing the game altogether. When moving to a new school, he meets the Famous 8, who help him rediscover his love for tennis, along with finding love outside the sport.

Guardian: The Lonely and Great God

This drama has elements of humor and grief, making it so easily binge-watchable. Guardian is about the quest of Dokkaebi, a 939-year-old guardian of souls who is looking for a bride to break his immortal curse. In his quest, he meets a grim reaper and a sprightly student with a tragic past. He doesn't use his immortality for nothing, but instead, uses it to help people and is a kind person, in spite of his grieving past.

Saving the best for last, this is one of my personal favorites. I highly recommend this drama if you love school romance stories. It follows Kim Bok-Joo, a young woman chasing her dream of weightlifting on an athlete college campus, who develops a crush on her childhood friend Jung Joon-Hyung.
