    Eat What You Want Day is May 11th. This day of delight was created not just for the foodies of the world, but for the countless individuals looking to dump their diet for a day and eat their fill! Doesn't really matter which one you are—if you like to eat, this day can be a feast, and merrymaking is the special of the day. On Eat What You Want Day, you get to celebrate food by eating what you want―the entire day! It's a day of decadence devoted to indulging in one's favorite foods. All. Day. Long. People everywhere justify honoring the day by eating what makes them happy as a reward for spending so many of the other 364 days of the year not eating what they want. They go off their diets and even off their rockers!

    To commemorate the day, some people will enjoy the simple pleasure of dining on a simple bowl of cereal ... for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Others experiment with their favorite foods—together. Like chocolate chip cookie crumbles in their mashed potatoes. (Yum!) Go ahead, pour some gravy over the top of your pancakes. For something healthier, try a mouth-watering spinach and banana sandwich. Make it a day where you can stop obsessing over your muffin top or your spreading hips and explore the idea of spreading some avocado over the top of your chocolate chip muffin.

    Eat What You Want Day is also about grabbing your buddies and besties and paying tribute to the day by paying a visit to the different eateries in your area, and trying something new like sushi, chicken & waffles, crème brulée, or grits. Having a Thanksgiving dinner is always a crowd favorite for this special day, too. Or chow down on cuisine from another country like deep fried Mars Bars—a Scottish favorite. This is not a day to be shy! Get creative and be unafraid to try the strange and the exotic. Drizzle pineapple juice over prime rib and have a side of pistachio nuts! (Mmm, tasty.)

    Mothers can celebrate Eat What You Want Day in conjunction with Mother's Day, by revisiting some of those pregnant-lady food cravings, like Doritos and whip cream sandwiches, or brownies with mustard. And if you're looking to really challenge your culinary yuck factor, try onions soaked in pickle juice … with cherries on top.

    For most guys, celebrating the day can be made easy by just adding bacon to any of the aforementioned meals or snacks. Bacon-wrapped Twinkies are sure to please guys everywhere. Or, instead of gathering for a pub crawl, organize a grub crawl! You won't even have to worry about having a designated driver if you do the day up right, and you could easily end up with enough doggie bags to feed a family of 40. But above all, people, let's not forget, it's Eat What You Want Day not "Eat ALL You Want Day!"
