What TV/Movie Characters That Everyone Hates Aren't Actually That Bad?

Honestly, Jar Jar wasn't that bad.

Some movie and TV characters are universally hated, and for good reason.

But some really just don't deserve the flak they get.

Like...was Riley from Buffy the Vampire Slayer really that bad, especially compared to Spike and Angel? Or was it kind of nice to see Buffy with a non-vampire?

Honestly, I feel like Skylar was pretty reasonable in Breaking Bad, considering all the crap she dealt with.

Maybe you felt like people just hated on Rachel in Glee because of Lea Michele, and that her character was actually kind of inspiring with an interesting arc.

Or maybe you're more into movies, and you feel like the hate Jar Jar Binks and Anakin got in Star Wars was undeserved.
