Getting into skincare can be kind of overwhelming — there are just so many products on the market and tips on the internet! It can be hard to figure out what's actually helpful.

On that note, we (it's me, I'm talking about me) are DEFINITELY doing a lot of stuff wrong. So, dermatologists or skincare professionals — a little help here?

What are some common misconceptions or things people do wrong? Maybe you know that using certain exfoliants like apricot scrub is akin to scraping your skin, and that you should use something with finer or oil-based exfoliants.
