Or you tore through the pages of Jenny Han's The Summer I Turned Pretty just in time to watch the new TV series.
Or maybe you simply couldn't put down Colleen Hoover's This Is Us (and in fact, you read it again once you finished the last page).
Maybe your version of a beach read is a captivating thriller like Reckless Girls by Rachel Hawkins that kept you guessing until the very last sentence.
