This 10-Minute Tuna Pasta Is My Ultimate Quarantine Lunch

Never underestimate the power of canned tuna fish.

Perhaps the biggest change about working from home is that instead of going out to grab a salad or sandwich, I've been forced to make my own lunch at home. At first, I was struggling with easy yet satisfying lunch ideas, until I started making this easy tuna pasta.

It's a satisfying and simple lunch, and the best part is you can probably find everything you need right in your pantry. Start with canned tuna or, if you want to up the ante a bit, tuna fillets in olive oil.

Next, grab some pasta (any shape works!), garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. You can stop there, or add whatever other ingredients are in your pantry like capers, sun dried tomatoes, red pepper flakes, olives, etc...

While you boil pasta, grate or thinly slice a few cloves of garlic. Combine the canned tuna with the garlic, capers, and whatever other ingredients you're using. Drizzle everything in lemon juice (you could also use vinegar, Dijon, or plain yogurt.).

Next, combine the cooked pasta and the tuna mixture. Toss everything in olive oil and season with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes if you're using, and lemon zest if you're feeling fancy.

Anddddd that's all there is to it! The perfect lunch whipped up in no time using ingredients you probably already have on hand. Bon appetit!
