All you need is a mug, a porcelain marker and an oven.

2. Bumble bee shoes.

These gorgeous bumble bee shoes are as easy as pie and look ultra cute. Just dip a pencil end in nail varnish and spot it on the shoes. Add on the detail with permanent marker.

3. Make Christmas crackers.

All you need to make these marquee light initials is a cardboard draft letter, anything you want to decorate it, and some fairy lights.

11. Candy cane vodka.

This is ultra easy and delicious. Simply break up the candy canes and pour the crumbles into a bottle of vodka. Shake it every day until they have dissolved, then strain into a fancy bottle.

13. Hanging hallway baskets.

All you need for this is string and baskets. Asian supermarkets have ultra-cheap bamboo steamers if you want to re-create the look completely.

14. Heart-print socks.

These two-ingredient heart-print socks are quicker to make than a cup of tea. Simply paint the design on with acrylic or fabric paint, and leave to dry.
