Someone Needs To Get 31 Things For Me (Or For Yourself)

If I can't have it, you should.

    1. A shaved ice machine that'll pump out hot weather snow cones ON DEMAND, just like my childhood self always dreamed of. Reviewers recommend flavoring your cones with everything from syrup and soda to hot sauce and frozen drink mixes — frozen margs, anyone??

Just be warned that you may become the most popular person in the neighborhood once word gets out.

Promising review: "When I bought it, I only hoped it would make the shaved ice I love without crunchy bits in it. I did not expect it to do so, but bought it anyhow for at least small ice. It turns out, it really does make great shaved ice that is not crunchy. The ice is delightfully like snow. I have started making 'snacks' of shaved ice with it and freezing a second bowl of it for later. Each little round block of ice makes about two bowls full of light, fluffy shaved ice. I have been eating the ice plain, because I just like plain ice most of the time, but I plan to go add some of the flavorings to my cart soon to try those out too. I love this little machine." —Brandywine

You can try a sampler of shaved ice syrup flavors also available on Amazon!

    2. A bestselling weighted fitness hoop to help strengthen your core, relieve lower back pain from long days of sitting, and shake off stress — with all the nostalgic glee you had playing with Hula Hoops once upon a time during recess. I NEED it.

Model using a blue weighted hoop to swing into a workout

The waist is adjustable up to 43 inches.

Promising review: "Like many folks, I have struggled with finding an exercise that I enjoy and will actually keep doing. It is so easy to do, it is as fun as doing cardio can be, and I have been able to do it on a regular basis. I use it for around 30 minutes, three to five times a week. I am definitely sweating by the time I’m done, but since it’s so easy to do once you get the hang of it, I feel powerful and proud of myself. (I’ve listened to podcasts, watched TV, and even read while hooping with it.) It is fairly noisy but not terrible, so keep that in mind." —Amazon Customer

    3. two-sided travel cup, aka THE answer to the prayers of those of us who are never satisfied with just one beverage. You can fill one compartment with water and the other with iced coffee (or juice, iced tea, lemonade, bubble tea, and more). My toxic trait is that I truly believe this would make me just about unstoppable.

Promising review: "You NEED this. This product is AMAZING. When I run errands, I hate bringing both a water bottle and coffee tumbler. This product solves that issue. I ran it through my dishwasher to clean it, and the plastic didn’t morph at all. 10/10 recommend!" —Megan Huffman

    4. Plus, SPEAKING OF ICED COFFEE, a cult-fave cold brew coffee maker that's blissfully easy to use. All you gotta do is put some ground coffee in the filter, seal the airtight top lid, and throw it in the fridge to brew overnight. GIMME.

Promising review: "This coffee maker is my BEST FRIEND! I use this every day, it's so easy to use! My coffee comes out perfect every time. I'm a cold coffee drinker and I put about 8–10 scoops of freshly ground coffee into the filter. I let it sit overnight and the next morning, I remove the filter and dump the grounds. It makes four days' worth of coffee and I love that it's ready to go for me, especially since I wake up at 4:50 a.m. and I need to make my coffee quickly! It's very easy to clean as well." —Panda

    5. A comfy, soft hammock to provide ENDLESS delight for your entire household — and that reviewers love so much, many said they *literally* use it as their bed now instead of their actual mattresses. Like??!! Pair it with a drink and a book, and you'll be living your best life.

Plus, the stand is easy to assemble, disassemble, and pack up in the included carrying case for storage or travel.

Promising review: "The cotton fabric is sturdy and breathable. I never feel stuck to it the way I do in a nylon hammock. The setup/take down is super easy and the frame is very sturdy — we have definitely put 300+ pounds in it. The ability to raise and lower the hammock with the multiple hook positions might be the best feature. I have bad knees and like to get into the hammock from a higher position... no problem. My kids like it lower so they can reach the ground to swing it... no problem. It works great as a traditional hammock to lay in. It works as a 'swing' to sit on. It has enough fabric that you can cover up if you're cold or want to block out light or bugs. We have accidentally left it out in the rain several times and it dries great, hasn't faded from the sun, hasn't had any mold, and hasn't developed any weird smell." —Mary

    6. A Bluetooth keyboard so you can get some work done on the go without having to carry around an 8-pound laptop all day. Promising review: "I tried one of these Omoton keyboards at a friend's house a long time ago. I've wanted one ever since. I finally ordered one, and I must say, I have no buyers regret; unless it's to say I wish I'd gotten one sooner. I paired it with both my iPhone, which was quite easy, and my tablet, which as also quite easy. It's way better then using the keyboard on the phone. I'm really serious folks. It was wonderful. Thank you, thank you, thank you Omoton for filling this special need." —Robert L.

Promising review: "I am allergic to cats so here I am with two cats who shed a ton. Their hair is covering all the furniture. I have special pet covers on my bed to protect my comforter but I hate having to sleep under it since my cats sleep on my bed. I have tried so many cat hair remover brushes, gloves, sponges that never worked. I was ready to shave the cats and call it a day. Then along comes the ChomChom brush. It not only has the lint roller but a bar that collects the hair. I love the little hairball container of the roller so I don't have to spend time cleaning off the lint brush. I can't believe this product works! I have an off-white couch and I didn't realize how much hair there was. After I used it, my couch looked lighter in color. I got my comforter cleaned off in minutes. My former colleague Brittany Ross has these: "I got the 2-pound weights as a Christmas gift, and as someone who is ~not~ the most enthusiastic when it comes to most forms of exercise, I think these are a great option if you want to get a little more out of even a simple walk around the block. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing with their pretty colors and matte finish, but they're also quite comfortable, given that they're adding extra resistance to your movements. BuzzFeed Shopping editor Jenae Sitzes has this and loves it: "This thing not only looks good, but works great for keeping my coffee warm all day long (because yes, I'm one of those people that'll sip on coffee until 5 p.m., all right!!). I was kind of worried it'd be too small for some of my larger mugs, but the center plate is bigger than expected and accommodated every mug in my (very eclectic) collection perfectly. I can confirm that flat-bottomed mugs are the best option for using with this warmer as they do stay hotter, but it still keeps my concave-bottom mugs warm enough for my taste. Also, I looove how sleek the white version looks on my white desk, and the auto-shutoff function is a nice safety feature as an absent-minded person."

Promising review: "I chose this treadmill because of the great customer service reviews and the fact that it was easily movable and compact and goes up to a speed to allow jogging/running. It's been fantastic to use while working from home. I was worried about it being hard to type or read while using it, but I usually walk at a speed of 2.4–2.6 mph while actively working — emails, technical editing, plan review, phone calls (haven't tried higher than that) — and have had no issues. I've been walking about 4 to 6 miles at a time. I also have had no issues moving it around myself with the rollers when I need to (I'm 5 feet 4), and it's not heavy at all, maybe just a little awkward to maneuver if you're working with a tight space. I had my mom (5 foot 1 and slight build) try to lift it because she was also interested in purchasing one, and she also had no issues moving it around. My husband (~170 pounds) will walk on it after work while watching TV for a few miles at 3–3.5 mph, but neither of us has tried running on it consistently. We live on the top floor of an apartment complex and have also gotten no complaints about noise issues, but again, haven't run on it yet. As of now, I definitely recommend it!" —Amazon Customer

It spreads on super easily and can either go on sheer or build for a bolder effect. I enjoy it for ~everyday wear~ since it's so easy to squirt a bit on my fingers, swirl it into my cheeks, and be on my merry way. It lasts all day and looks super natural to boot!"

Promising review: "He is my natural-born son and I would cry hot tears of sorrow if anything were to ever happen to him. Ok, so histrionics aside, I really really love this guy. This has been one of the best purchases I have made this year (if not ever) and I truly do think of it as an investment in myself and my mental health. I am lazy and hate vacuuming. But this guy? This little guy will just lightly whizz around the house over and over again, sometimes lightly bumping into things, sometimes jetting off into another room...just slowly but surely gathering up all the random dust, hair and other detritus that you don't even know about and might not be able to get to with a traditional vacuum. My life is so much more at ease knowing I can clean without lifting so much as a finger." —Jules

There's also a firepit-specific version of this chair that's lower to the ground, ideal for lounging by the fire and for people who are on the shorter side.

Promising review: "BRILLIANT! Some clever engineer somewhere thought this design up. You can put it down on an uneven surface, like when you go camping or to outdoor events, and rock away. Each leg is individually shocked so you are always balanced. We use these everywhere we go. Music in the park, sports games, and backyard barbecues are a comfortable treat now!" —Cindy Flora

    30. A handmade one-of-a-kind hand-warming mug that's about to be your new fave mug. It sports an ergonomic pocket for you to slip your chilly lil' fingers into. (And it comes in versions for righties and lefties!)

Promising review: "This is like sending your friend a hug every time they use it. I bought this to replace wifey's favorite mug that broke. It's just right. It feels so good when you hold it. The colors are warm and shade beautifully into each other, giving a pleasing subtle grading effect. Washing it is a bit weird, as the cup is also shaped differently inside, but it's easy to wash up since there are no hidden areas. This is her new favorite mug, hit it out of the park with its beautiful design. Bit pricey, but y'know, when it's perfect you accept that." —kevin

    31. A splurge-worthy Litter Robot here to make life approximately one thousand times easier while ensuring your beloved kitty (or kitties) always have a clean area to do their business. This high-tech gadget cleans your cat's litter for you, collecting the waste in a bag at the bottom of the bot after your lovey's finished and leaving the litter area full of only fresh litter.

Jenae owns this and loves it: "I've been using the Litter Robot myself for over a year now, and I'm pretty sure both me and my two cats are way happier for it. After a cat is done using it, the Litter Robot waits a set amount of time until the cat's presence is no longer detected, then begins to rotate, collecting the waste into a bag at the bottom while retaining the clean litter in the barrel. I usually don't detect a smell from it afterward, though once the bag starts to get really full, you might get a subtle reminder that you need to take it out. I only have to take out that bag about once a week, and a flashing light will let you know when it's full.

"Initially, the cats were a little spooked by the sound of the Litter Robot during a cycle, and for the first few weeks, they would just sit and stare at it, as if it would get up and run at them if they took their eyes off it. At this point, though, they've completely adjusted and accepted it as their way of life, making my life a heck of a lot easier while ensuring they always have a clean bed of litter. It's a pricey purchase, to be sure, but if cleaning out the litter box daily or even every other day is hard for you and you'd rather not think about it much at all, I say the Litter Robot is worth it. One thing to note: It's quite large, so make sure you have a dedicated space for it."

Get it from Litter Robot for $549 (available in white or gray).
