This isn't as hard as it looks. Cast your ballot in the Canadian federal election.

1. The Canadian Federal Election is on Monday, October 19.

2. If you’re a Canadian citizen who is at least 18 years old by election day, and can prove your identity, you can vote.*

3. You also need to be registered to vote.

4. Next, make sure your address is up to date.

5. Then you need to find out what riding you vote in.

6. Students: You can choose to vote in your home riding or your school riding.

7. Remember: You need to show proof of who you are and where you live to vote on election day.

8. If your ID does not have your current address, take an oath.

9. Many Canadians living or studying abroad can vote too.*

10. Dear early birds and overachievers: You can also vote before October 19!
