Amazon has a list of products called "Movers and Shakers," which is pretty much just fancy talk for things that are currently ~trending~. Here are some of the most useful and loved home products on the list this week:
1. An 18-cup Brita water filter because we all deserve a fresh, clean glass of H2O to start our mornings, especially if your well water has a slightly funky taste. Just fill this up at night, pop it in the refrigerator, and you'll have the cleanest, crispest water waiting for you in the AM.
2. A portable charger you can use to recharge your phone and Kindle up to five times while on the go. I'm not sure how our parents lived without cellphones, but we don't ever need to know what that was like! Especially when traveling somewhere new!!
3. A Bentgo five-compartment bento box guaranteed to have your kid (or honestly, you) lookin' like the coolest kid at the lunch table with its divided compartments and leak-proof lid. Soggy lunches, buh-bye!
4. A high-voltage bug zapper that'll clear the air (up to 1,500 square feet to be exact) of any mosquitoes, gnats, flies, or moths who want to crash the party.
5. A two-tier shower caddy ideal for anyone who has too many shampoos and body washes, and are trying to live in one habitat. (Big families and people with roommates, I'm looking at you!)
6. A gooseneck electric kettle that can boil water in as little as three minutes, which means you'll no longer have to stand over your stove, half asleep, anxiously waiting until your old-school teapot starts whistling.
7. A handheld electric milk frother that'll make your morning coffee (whether it be hot or iced) a little extra special.
8. An indoor flying insects trap you simply plug into the wall and let do its thing. The UV light attracts the insects to get caught on the sticky glue insert (which you can obvi replace when needed).
9. A coconut candle, because while everyone else is getting their apple cider and pumpkin scents, you are holding on to every last piece of summer you possibly can.
10. A satin pillowcase that'll keep your bedhead to a minimum and prevent excess oil from forming on your face (which means you can spend less time tending to those things and more time asleep in bed).
11. A portable handheld steamer because, uhhhh, who wants to deal with an iron and risk ruining their clothes? Not I, not you, not anyone. This thing destroys wrinkles in seconds and is low-key fun to use??
12. A four-pack of rug grippers equipped with a renter-friendly adhesive to keep all your runners and area rugs in place by preventing slippage.
13. A standing weeder here to help you achieve a flawless lawn without ending up with a sore back every time you do yard work.
Made with a bamboo handle and powder-coated steel, it uses a simple lever system to make weeding easy.
Promising review: "Oh my god, I friggin' love this tool. I bought this on a whim when we bought our first house and know nothing about caring for a yard. Boy has it come in handy. Our new house had a ton of weeds in the front yard, and this tool helped me get most of them out in no time. In fact, the process of yanking out the weeds was strangely satisfying! I don't think anyone can say that weeding is fun but this tool made it as close to fun as you can get, especially when you see a long root along with the weed you pulled." —JG
Price: $39.99
14. A quiet, ozone-free Levoit air purifier loved by reviewers dealing with allergies, asthma, or just plain ol' bad smells! It uses a three-stage filtration system to help rid the air of allergens, pet hair, dander, smoke, mold, odor, large dust particles, and 99.97% of airborne contaminants as small as 0.3 microns to help you breathe easy in your space.
It covers up to 129 square feet and can even be used as a nightlight!
Promising review: "This air purifier is great! I bought it because there was a lot of pollen and cat dander in my house which was making my asthma flare-up. Since I’ve gotten this air purifier, the cat odor has decreased, and I don’t need to use my inhaler as much. The noise is very quiet and not interruptive for me. Overall, I love this item and totally recommend it." —Dana
Price: $89.99 (available in two colors)
15. A portable car vacuum cleaner that might help you stay on top of things when it comes to cleaning your vehicle. It's fully equipped with a 16-foot-long cable that plugs right into your car's lighter port — how easy is that!?
16. A rotary cheese grater to give yourself allllllllll the freshly grated Parm your heart could ever desire — no shame if that's the entire block!
Promising review: "I love it. My family loves it. We used to use a handheld flat cheese grater. It took forever to grind enough cheese out of that thing. This little jewel cranks out grated cheese. We tried all sorts of hard cheeses just to see the thing work, then froze some soft cheeses to see how they worked. Now we mix our cheeses just because it is so easy to do. Asiago/Parmesan rockfish? Simple. Pretty neat. It works. It's cheap. Easy to clean. Handy as hell. Buy one." —Aranhas
Price: $22.95
17. A new shower curtain liner since your current one is probably covered in water stains and a layer of mysterious grime. This one is specifically designed to reduce soap scum and is also hypoallergenic!
Promising review: "I’ve never had a sheer one before, but this is so nice to rinse off and clean. The sheerness makes it easy to see where it needs rinsing. We have a walk-in handicap shower so I don’t know if the magnets stick, but in our shower, they weigh it down. Important because a handicapped walk-in does not have much of a lip. I’m pleased with my purchase." —Gloria
Price: $8.45+ (available in seven colors and 24 sizes)
18. A bushel of faux pampas grass plumes that'll add some nice texture to your space with minimal upkeep required.
Brooklyn Theory is a small business that offers faux pampas grass and dried palm leaves to add a floral pop to your home.
Promising review: "I love these faux pampas. They're such good quality. The best thing is that they don’t shed like real pampas. I highly recommend this product. It’s so on-trend and makes for beautiful statement and decor." —jazG

19. A set of two reusable Wad-Free tools to help reduce drying time and prevent your sheets from, well, tangling themselves into a giant wad. They're a Shark Tank fan-fave for a reason.
Wad-Free is a woman-owned small biz that was launched during the pandemic by Cyndi, who had a wadding problem and no available solutions, so she created her own!
Promising review: "Owning an Airbnb...I wash a lot of sheets! This product caught my eye because I hate to have to unravel sheets multiple times during the dry cycle. It works! I’m buying more to give as stocking stuffers for my adult kids!" —Kindle Customer

20. An egg bite maker that'll help you kick your daily Starbucks breakfast habit (and help you save a little money!) by making them at home. Not only can you customize them with your favorite veggies, meats, and seasonings, BUT you can also remove the silicone tray and use this as a good ole griddle when you want to make omelettes or pancakes.
21. A teensy mini waffle maker because mini things just taste better, duh!! Scientifically speaking, it provides more flavor and deliciousness per square inch of total waffle which = you need to buy this. Your mornings (and honestly, late nights) will be so much better for it.
22. A veggie chopper that does exactly what you'd expect it to: chops your veggies like a pro, with just the pull of a string. Wave goodbye to onion tears and accidentally cutting yourself. 😎
23. A round ice cube tray that just feels so much more luxe than the literal rectangular cubes. IDK, I can't explain it — but these little round balls just feel elevated and will take any coffee, mocktail, or adult bevvy to a new level.
24. A litter box attractant powder so your lil' baby kitty knows exactly where to go when it's potty time.
25. A Lodge cast-iron skillet, because you've been wanting to step up your cooking game, and this is the logical next step.
26. A 17-piece knife set equipped with everything you need to peel, slice, and dice! It even comes with a clear stand so you can beautifully display them (rather than taking up drawer space you DON'T have). Also comes with a sharpener!
27. A Rain-X shower door cleaner guaranteed to make your glass so clean and shiny, you might just forget to open the door. So, like, be careful.
