The 8 Different Types Of Mafia Players

1. The Accuser

This type of player will always have something to say every round. Most likely butt hurt over being chosen as a citizen, their main goal is to wreak havoc and distrust amongst the group. Nothing they say is legitimate and they know it.

Likelihood to be voted off: high. Usually for some peace and quiet.

2. The Compulsive Liar

This person is so well-versed in the art of white lies that their heart may start to flutter as soon as they realize they are a member of the mafia. There's also a high chance that this person is an upstanding human being outside of the game. But once the game ensues, their inner Pinocchio will be unleashed.

Likelihood to be voted off: low.

3. The Analyst

Most likely an introvert, this participant is someone who analyzes and over-thinks everything. They believe that everyone is a genius and attempts to always stay one step ahead of the rest. However, they'll end up voting off a cop or a medic all while sitting next to the mafia the entire game. As the round comes to an end, they'll come to the harrowing realization that they helped the mafia win and have a profound moment of deep regret.

Likelihood to be voted off: medium.

4. The Z-List Actor

This person is such a bad actor that it's nearly impossible for them to survive more than two rounds during any given game. They usually act wildly different from their normal selves, can't complete a coherent sentence without stuttering and may be sweating profusely. If by chance they're chosen as a member of the mafia, their fellow mafia members may agree to kill this participant off in order to save their cover.

Likelihood to be voted off: above average.

5. The Selfish Doctor

When chosen as the nurse/medic, this player will exclusively save themselves with absolutely no regard for human life. You could be their dying grandma, and they still won't save you.

Likelihood to be voted off: low.

6. The Salem Witch

This person will be accused of being a mafia member every single game simply for being who they are. They won't even be playing and they'll get accused. They'll be sleeping and they'll still get accused. Bad weather? They'll definitely get accused. You get the point.

Likelihood to be voted off: through the roof.

7. The Snake

When chosen as a mafia member, this person will slither their way through the game. A silent killer, this player enjoys creating a rapport with those around them. A secret handshake here, an inside joke there, and before you know it, they've got you in a trance, similar to what snake charmers do to innocent cobras.

Likelihood to be voted off: slippery.

8. The Suicide Squad

Armed with a false sense of glory and honor, these players are self-declared heroes. If chosen as a cop, they'll go out with a bang by revealing all of the mafia members because, well, citizens' lives matter. They're true heroes the people deserve, but also heroes nobody asked for.

Likelihood to be voted off: suicide.
