Dog With Terminal Cancer Gets Her Own Bridal Shower

So many conflicting emotions. Lucky the Maltese was diagnosed with terminal spleen cancer and given less than a year to live. Her owner decided to throw a bridal shower with 12 of her puppy friends to lift her spirits and raise awareness of canine cancer.

An energetic but aging Maltese, Lucky was diagnosed with spleen cancer in February and given 3 months to a year to live. She's still looking for her groom but moving ahead with plans for a July 12 wedding at the Jumeirah Essex House hotel.
