A teenage love story ending in tragedy. If you have not read this, you must! Violet and Finch paint a picture of a romance doomed from the beginning (literally).

All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

This book centers around a mystical plot, much like one in "Harry Potter" or "the Hobbit". Carry On is a special book, which anybody who loves fantasy will also love. It is also a love story, and it utterly addicting.

Carry On by Rainbow Rowell

An awesome and tragic romance. The movie is also great, so if you want something that you can read and watch it's perfect. This book is a real tearjerker , and tells a beautiful tragic story.

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes

This coming of age novel is a bit slow in the beginning, but if you give it a chance, you will fall in love with the plot and the characters as they grow older. All of the pieces truly fall together perfectly towards the middle, so just wait. This is a beautiful work of literature.

I'll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson

I must have read this book five times over. It is addicting. This book is an extremely fast read, and is a romance that will warm any teens heart.

Until Friday Night by Abbi Glines

Both a sci-fi novel, and romance. This book is shocking, and any fan of the Walking Dead will love it. This book also comes along with a movie (which sucks). This book is also a quick read, which is a bonus, but has illustrations for anyone who gets confused about the plot.

Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion

If you're a fan of horror, this is widely recommended. However, you need to be committed to reading if you pick this up, because it extremely large with small font. If you read this though, you will not regret it. Stephen King is an infamous author, beholding extreme talent. If you haven't already, watch the movie as well (the old one and the new one).

IT by Stephen King

An extreme mystery, this book is definitely directed towards the teen audience. If you are a fan girl in any sense, you'll get a kick out of this. This book is shocking to the extreme, and the ending will leave you shook. I can guarantee during this read you will literally say aloud "WHAT". This book is also not widely known, therefore it is a good choice that is a bit underground still.

Kill The Boy Band by Goldy Moldavsky

If you're looking for an insightful eye opening book, this is it. This book is a non-fiction read, but will keep you on the edge of your seat at every moment, especially if you are a big fan of Cobain and/or Nirvana. This follows the events which occurred leading to his being dead, and what might have occurred had he been murdered.

Love & Death: The Murder Of Kurt Cobain

If you want to laugh one second and cry the next, this is perfect for you. Shane tells of his life experiences, followed by illustrations. These stories are relatable, as well as hilarious. This book is also a relatively quick read, or can be slow if you read one chapter at a time (seeing as each chapter is a new short story).
